Residents of Mwala on Thursday called on the county government complete the rehabilitation of roads in the sub county.
They said road rehabilitation work which began recently had not been complete and that the roads were impassable.
Those who spoke to this writer said accidents had increased as a result of the bad state of the roads.
"These dams are collecting a lot of water due to the heavy rains being experienced in the region and they are dangerous to our children and cattle because they are not fenced," one of the residents said.
They spoke at a meeting where Mbiuni Ward MCA Thomas Kasoa told the residents plans were underway to complete road construction works.
The residents had said that the bad state of the roads had negatively affected business in the area.
They also said farmers were making loses as they can no longer access markets.
The county government recently kick started the process of rehabilitating roads in the entire county.
Construction works were however, stopped after heavy rains were experienced in the area.
