Police have recovered two firearms and ammunition in a security operation in Majengo area in Mombasa.
This happened on Monday night after allegedly receiving information from another terror suspect arrested in Wajir last month.
Police raided the terror suspect's house and recovered a G3 and M4 rifles, 345 bullets, 15 phones and a laptop. The suspect is said to be on the run.
He is suspected to have stolen the weapons from security agents during the attack at Nyali Barracks and banks in Mombasa and Bondeni in 2014 and 2015.
The weapons are linked to most wanted terror suspects Hussein Said Omar aka Babli and Ishmael Shosi.
