Nacada boss John Mututho has advised law enforcers to work with the wanainchi so as to get vital information on the manufacturing dens of illicit brews.
Speaking in Nakuru town on Sunday, Mututho called on the police to not only work with local administrators but also prioritise information they receive from the public if the fight against second generation liquor has to achieve its desired purpose in the country.
He expressed confidence in all efforts employed by Nacada in taming the outlawed brews saying at least their efforts had started yielding positive results.
"These are the people who know exactly who is behind this killer brew business. They are the ones who can pinpoint the schemers and sellers of the drinks because they live with them," he said.
The former Naivasha MP took issue with administrators who facilitate the illicit brew business saying their days were numbered.
"As a public servant entrusted to represent the government in any capacity and instead of working diligently, you engage in fishy deals; you will run but won't hide forever," he warned.
He revealed that the authority was in the process of pushing for a law that will ensure severe disciplinary measures for any public officer aiding second generation liquor business.
