Residents in Kong'asis village, Uasin Gishu county fear for the destruction of lower Kipsinende bridge due to heavy tracks and lorries passing through the bridge.

According to Tony Kemboi, a resident in the area, the bridge should only be utilized by residents who travel by foot due to its bad state. Kemboi says that business men who visit the area with heavy lorries are their customers who buy maize from them but if they keep on using the bridge, it will worsen its state and may even pose a danger to the entire community. 

The residents are now calling for the county government to construct the bridge in order to avert any dangerous situations in the future.
