A section of Koma residents in Matungulu constituency today expressed their anger over their MP Stephen Mule for failing to construct the Koma-Machakos road.

The road connects traders drawn from the Koma, Nguluni and Tala areas to Machakos traders, something that the residents claim promotes trade between the people.

Speaking today in an interview, the residents noted that the area leaders have failed to construct the road as they promised during the 2012 election campaign.

"The construction of this road was one of our Mp's agenda in 2012. We are not happy about this. We want to see change in our area," said one of the residents.

They further promised to cooperate with the leaders in seeing that all set projects within the area are successfully implemented.

The residents vowed to vote for leaders who keep promises that make to them saying that they will vote carefully in 2017 in order to elect leaders of their choice.

A group of the residents, however, differed with the accusations made on the leaders saying that the leaders in the area led by their Mp Mutinda Mule have ensured that different projects have been met successfully.
