Residents of Rhonda Ward in Nakuru West sub-county have expressed satisfaction over the ongoing road project in the area and lauded the county government for overseeing it.

Speaking on Sunday, the residents said improved road network will herald a new beginning for the area which has been synonymous with negative news of crime and illicit brew business. 

Erick Mwangi, a resident, thanked the county government for giving the road a facelift.

"It is very wise of the county government to recarpet this road since doing so will improve so much here,"he noted.

His sentiments were echoed by Ann Nyakundi who observed that the Rhonda-Shabab road had started improving lives due to improved transportation of goods in the area.
