Nakuru County sacked Chief of Staff Raymond Komen has moved to court to challenge his sacking.

Komen filed a case at Nakuru’s Labour and Relations court on Tuesday accusing Governor Kinuthia Mbugua of unlawfully terminating his contract.

Komen told the court he was hired by the county Public Service Board and as such the county boss has no powers whatsoever to send him packing.

Judge Richard Radido directed both parties to file responses before March 4.
