Principal John Gachiga said the Safaricom agreed to fund the construction of the library after visiting the school.

On Friday, he thanked the mobile operator saying the library will help the students in their studies.

"We have been lucky to receive funding to construct the library and Safricom is pumping Sh1.7 million in the project and we are so happy as a school," said Gachiga.

He said Safaricom will also fund the equipping of the library.

"They have also agreed to equip the library and this is another great move for us as a school," he said.

The school has a population of 87 students.
