School girls in Giasaiga sub location have been warned against engaging in irresponsible sexual behaviour during the December holiday.
Assistant chief James Mogo said such behaviour could lead to early pregnancies and contraction of Sexually Transmitted Infections.
Mr Mogo said girls should instead focus at completing their education.
Speaking on Wednesday at Nyang'eni village during a pre-wedding party for Lilian Mbaka, Mr Mogo reminded school girls of the dangers associated with irresponsible sexual behaviours.
He challenged them to embrace protected sex to avert contracting Sexually Transmitted Diseases which may endanger their lives.
Mr Mogo challenged school girls to give their education a chance instead of being enticed by gifts and other worldly things to engage in dangerous sexual activities which threaten their lives and education careers.
"Iam challenging school girls and young people in general to avoid engaging in irresponsible sexual behaviour at the expense of their education and life careers," he said.
