Parents are embracing school uniform labeling in Uasin- Gishu County, a tradition that has been evolving over time.
This is usually happening Eldoret town and according to John Murey whose son’s uniforms are labelled in the town says it makes work easier for the as parents because instead of spending a lot of time sewing identity marks on the clothes, the service can be done in a few minutes.
"It also enhance security of these uniforms because the students can easily identify the marks of their uniforms," added Murey.
He says it is also cheaper than keeping on replacing the lost items most of the time. The labellers participate in the activity outside school depot in the town.
