The auditions for Miss Tourism Nakuru County resumed on Friday starting with Rongai sub-county.
The event will take place at Shepherd Inn Hotel from 9am.
The search for Nakuru beauty had been temporarily halted by the County Assembly though, as the MCAs needed clarification on certain issues from the organisers.
‘’Everything has been sorted out now and we have received the go ahead from the county assembly to continue with auditions in the remaining 10 sub-counties," said Philip Ngok via the phone.
Ngok, who is the county youth president, revealed that for Kuresoi South sub-county, they had conducted the auditions before the order to stop the exercise was announced and hence there was no need to re-do it.
"We will focus on the other 10 sub-counties which we had not visited,’’ he explained.
The semi-finals for the auditions will take place on March 18 at Kivu Hotel, while the finals will be on March 25, at Nakuru Sports Club.
The winner will walk away with Sh50, 000, while 1st runners up pockets Sh30,000 and 2nd runners up will go home with Sh20,000.
The Member of County Assembly where the winner comes from will be awarded Sh20,000.
