Fourteen passengers among them two kids escaped death on Saturday after the car they were travelling in got involved in an accident along the Machakos-Wote road.
The Wote bound Nissan is said to have rolled several times before falling in a ditch after the driver failed to negotiate a corner.
Witnesses claimed that the vehicle was being driven at high speed.
"We heard the sound of screeching brakes followed by a loud bang and that is when we rushed to the scene. The driver was speeding knowing very well that there are corners on this road,” said Sam Mwengi, a witness.
The injured passengers were taken to Machakos Level Five Hospital and Makueni Referral Hospital by well wishers.
This comes two weeks after an accident occurred along the same road leaving pass angers injured.
The Nissan was towed to Kola police station.
