Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has urged politicians to stop using inciting statements during political rallies since it encourages political polarisation.

Speaking on Sunday at Cheptiret Market, Sudi said it is sad that politicians are using harsh words that will bring animosity and polarise the country in the 2017 general elections.

"This exercise of exchanging bitter words between the Jubilee coalition and CORD Members of Parliament during political rallies, should stop since it is dividing Kenyans on political and tribal afiiliation" he said.

He said this will lead to enmity amongst tribes that MPs talk ill off and will lead to war thus a threat to peace and tranquillity that Kenyans enjoy.

"I urge Kenyans from all divides to shun such leaders with ill motives whose aim is to divide them politically which might lead to war during and after the 2017 elections," he said.

He challenged the National Cohesion of Integration Commission to perform its mandate by ensuring that all those involved in hate speech are arrested to act as an example to those with similar behaviours.
