A man was on Thursday arraigned in a Nakuru court charged with setting on fire a neigbour's house .

Moses Ndungu 36, appeared before Senior Principal Magistrate Liz Gicheha where he denied the charges.

The court was told that on October 25 ,this year at Kimbo in Nakuru County, the accused arrived home late in evening and set on fire the house of Samuel Nyaga.

The court heard that the fire destroyed everything and the owner of the house lost property worth Sh60,000.

The magistrate released the accused on Sh50,000 bond with one surety of similar amount.

Hearing was set for November 12.
