Kamau Brian Karanja, a top student in Nakuru County has asked high school students to work as a team if they want to succeed.

Karanja who scored an A plain of 83 points in Moi High School Kabarak on Friday shared his tips on excellence in a local TV interview saying success is something that starts with an individual then next to class and finally translates to school.

"You have to be determined, engage into group discussions and work towards the same agenda," Karanja said.

He also said that when teachers have cleared the syllabus early it becomes easy for the students to revise on their own as they consult.

"We finished our sylabus on March and that was quite positive to our revision schdule as students," he said.

The calm and collected boy said he wants to be a neurosurgeon. .
