A 16-year-old teenager was on Friday charged before a Nakuru court.

The suspect was accused of defiling two girls aged seven at Kambi Somali in the outskirts of Nakuru town between February 1 and 3.

The accused denied the charge.

Before Judge Maroro Nyakundi, the prosecution, however, contested the age of the accused and requested the court to order a scrutiny into the actual age of the suspect.

The court ordered for the remand of the suspect until the investigations are over.

The case will be mentioned again on February 8.
