Tension has gripped Naivasha after two clans clashed in Ndabibi area of Naivasha.

Residents said they fear for their lives and asked the government to intervene.

“The situation is bad on ground; two clans are fighting each other. We are asking the government to send officers here and calm the situation,” John Mwaniki said.

Mwaniki said people are fleeing the area as they fear the situation will get worse.

Naivasha police have asked residents to stay calm as the situation is under control.
