Speaking in his office on Monday, Terer said that Keter's statements showed total disrespect to the President and the Jubilee administration.

"I am really disappointed with Nandi Hills MP's behaviour, if he is tired with being a Jubilee Party member he should quit and seek re-election with a party of his choice," he said.

He said the President was elected by majority of Kenyans, and that he is in office legally therefore deserves respect.

"I think the opposition is behind his reckless utterances and misbehaviour. I urge the Jubilee government to take stern action against him since he is tarnishing the good image of the government, President and Kenyans should ignore such self centered individuals," he said.

He said President Kenyatta was committed towards fighting corruption and has put all mechanisms in place to ensure corruption becomes a thing of the past.

Keter called for the resignation of the President following the Eurobond saga.
