A famous wise saying goes, "If the snake bites while it is being charmed, what then is the use of being a snake charmer?"
If Kenyans have lost huge amounts of money through corruption, why should they lose more by forming committees and tribunals that do not deliver?
Every time government officials are entangled in a corruption scandal, the state rushes to form a 'special' and 'independent' committee to investigate the allegations.
The committee is given a certain period after which it should table its findings.
These committees and tribunals are paid a lot of money but the common 'wananchi' whose money have been 'stolen' have never gotten justice through these committees and tribunals.
I think the state is using these tribunals to divert the attention of inquisitive Kenyans.
By forming a tribunal, the state is simply playing mind games with concerned Kenyans.
One may wonder and ask, why would the state deceive Kenyans by forming tribunals that 'they' know will never deliver?
