Nyaribari Chache member of parliament Richard Tong’i has called upon the public school heads across his constituency and other areas to embrace accountability and transparency in the management of public resources.
Speaking when he visited Riondong’a high school on Thursday evening the legislator said that most school heads would not be accountable for any resources that they have been given for the school development.
“We have always sent a lot of money from the bursary kitty for development only to find out that many schools have not comleted the projects that were started,” he said.
He added that he will ensure that all those who don’t deliver in school projects are prosecuted for all they need is accountability.
He also called upon area school management to apply dialogue in resolving the leadership wrangles bedeviling the institution.
The legislator accused many contractors of laxity in completing CDF projects and called upon them to ensure that they meet the deadlines.
