When Ugandan men complained a few months ago that rubber sheaths were affecting their jiggy, most people thought they were just massaging egos.
May be so or not.
In Kenya, we’ve heard of men from certain areas who are well endowed and could give American footballer Chris Jones a run for his money. Well, Jones’ member fell out during a 40-yard dash on live TV and the internet has been all gawky and all sweaty- especially the women.
After the wardrobe malfunction, Jones just smiled.
Back to the South African men.
The “VhaVenda” men from Limpopo who have been complaining of small condoms will finally have extra-large condoms produced for them. Already, a range of extra-large condoms manufactured by condom maker Durex has been launched in South Africa, to cater for these men.
According to Wikipedia, the Venda (Vhavenda or Vhangona) are a Southern African people living mostly near the South African-Zimbabwean border. They are among South Africa's minority groups and currently number 700,000 speakers in Limpopo Province.
According to Durex manager Stuart Roberts, “A large number of VhaVenda men in Limpopo South Africa are bigger and complain about condoms being uncomfortable and too small.”
This production has seen activists say the new condom could encourage men to practise safe sex in South Africa. The country has six million people living with HIV.
In South Africa, as in many other countries, some people- both men and women- are reluctant to use condoms.
Those who avoid using the condoms fear being labelled as promiscuous if they are seen with condoms.
The extra-large condoms could allegedly help condoms become cool as men will buy them to boost their ego according to an activist in the country.
So guys, if you hear someone complain of things being too tight and uncomfortable, it could be true or just seeking an ego massage.
If truly endowed, you also know where to get the sheath in your size (no pun intended).
