The two were in the police list of 29 suspects of rustling in the region.

Patrol and investigations have been intense in the area ever since clashes occurred along the border over cattle theft.

Muhoroni OCPD Muthuri Mwongera confirmed the arrest.

He said the number of suspects arrested so far stands at 13.

One of the main suspects was shot dead last week during a shoot out with the police at Potopoto.

"This means we have fifteen more to pursue. Since we commenced the operations the area has remained calm."

Clashes broke along the border between two neighbouring communities.

This left five people dead and many others injured.

A number of houses were also torched.

The conflict was ignited by rustling between the Luo and Kalenjin.
