Uasin Gishu County Speaker Isaac Terer has applauded the move by President Uhuru Kenyatta to reshuffle his cabinet to fight corruption saying it was on point and orderly.
Speaking at the Uasin Gishu County Assembly on Wednesday, Terer said that the move is on point and it has shown his commitment in the fight against corruption.
"I really applaud the president for reshuffling his cabinet by showing the door corrupt ones and replacing them with clean and competent individuals," he said.
He said he supports the move since it will help in the fight against corruption and bring back the faith that Kenyans had in the Jubilee government. "Corruption is a menace that has been rampant in the jubilee administration and his move to show the perceived corrupt cabinet secretaries the door will enhance a corrupt free government," he said.
He urged President Uhuru Kenyatta not to relent in the fight adding he should turn the whip in his office since it’s the most corrupt as he admitted earlier.
