The youth in Nakuru County have been challenged to use their numerical strength to effect political change in the society.
Nakuru West parliamentary seat hopeful Dr Erick Ogada challenged the youth to massively register as voters and elect leaders who are development oriented and who could be trusted to deliver on their election pledges.
"The youth are currently the majority in our population and if only they can register in large numbers then they can vote in the right leaders for a better future," he said.
At the same time Dr Ogada who has also sponsored an ongoing soccer tournament in the constituency urged young people to exercise their talents for better economic gains.
He advised that football and other sporting activities were now well paying careers which the youth could turn to and earn a better living.
He was speaking during a soccer tournament in Mazembe grounds on Thursday.
