Students in Kisii University were on Monday warned about wild campaigns which seem to be disrupting normal university programme.
While speaking to students, the current students leaders and the dean of students Br Francis Keronga, said the campaigns should be peaceful.
Br Keronga said the candidates should not drag students into dirty politics.
The students on Wednesday caused havoc during night hours to as late as 10pm, screaming and taking alcohol in the name of campaigning.
"Remember the university programme runs as usual and no political rallies or activities should disrupt the programmes," he added.
The campaigns are schedule to run up to Thursday evening with the elections being held on Friday, November 6.
