Nzioka Siwadie Waita has been appointed the Deputy Chief of Staff with immediate effect, State House Spokesperson Mahoah Esipisu has said.
“In this role Mr Waita shall deputise the Chief of Staff and Head of the Public Service in discharging his mandate including but not limited to:
Delivery of key flagship projects, Performance Contracting, managing the coordination of the President’s fiscal priorities in liaison with National Treasury and effective oversight of State Corporations,” read part of a statement by Mr Esipisu.
Mr Esipisu said Mr Waita’s appointment is in line with the President’s commitment to strengthening the capacity and responsiveness of the Executive Office of the President.
