Kabete MP Ferdinand Waitítu has slammed Governor William Kabogo’s leadership as poor stating that Kiambu deserves better.
Addressing Kabete locals today at the shopping centre, Waititu said that Kiambu County was a very resourceful county but has failed to prove that because of the leadership of William Kabogo. He said that Kabogo’s leadership has been full of corruption and discrimination on other parts of Kiambu hence development has not touched some areas of the county.
He said that it was time for Kiambu residents to get what they deserve and that is good leadership.He said that kind of leadership cannot be delivered by Kabogo as he has failed in the past three years.He said that come 2017, Kiambu residents should evaluate his leadership and kick him out and vote him as their new governor.
"2017 is around the corner and as registration of persons is ongoing I want to urge locals to register as voters in large numbers so that come 2017 you can vote for me as your new governor," said Waititu.
He said he will deliver what Kiambu residents want as he is more of a ,man of the people other than an office man.He said that Kabogo has totally brought Kiambu to shame and he should be voted out next year so that Kiambu can develop.
"We have come together as different Kiambu leaders and we have come with an operation to kick out Kabogo come 2017. This is the time for change and we are not living in the old days when leaders could lead for 20 years and do nothing. We have given him five years and it almost done and yet we don’t see much accomplished,’’ said Waititu.
