A Maseno court has issued a warrant of arrest against a lady who allegedly failed to meet a court order ruled on 2nd October 2015, to refund Ednah Wafula's and Joyce Nyambura's Kshs. 16, 000 within a month.
The two 2nd year students filed a case against the landlord after she failed to meet the court order.
The two allegedly paid Kshs. 16, 000 to the landlord to secure them a room which she failed to. They then took her to court which ordered her to within a month refund the money which the two claimed she had not refunded them.
“She keeps playing pranks on us; it’s past 2 months since the agreed upon time elapsed yet we haven't received any money,” says Nyambura.
“We decided to go back to court since she is taking advantage of us as students seeing that we can’t do anything. We however plan on following this issue and we know that justice will prevail,” said Wafula.
