This has forced most of the residents to use most of their time searching for water because water kiosks are very far.

''We are seriously suffering and most of us lack water to drink, leave alone washing our clothes and cooking. This is making our lives more difficult and unbearable day after another,"said Jane Munee, one of the residents.

They said two weeks ago, 20-litre jerrycans of water used to be sold sh10 but it is a shock to them as it has tripped to sh30. This is seriously affecting the residents. Children have also been affected as their parents have been forcing them to not  go to school in order to help them fetch water.

The residents have called upon the county government to intervene and hear their grievances and solve this problem which has not especially for them after the problem of heavy El-Nino rains which destroyed their properties.
