It is believed that Wednesday is the best day of the week for an employee to ask for a salary hike from his boss.
Speaking on Wednesday evening, Margaret Kirera, a citizen who I randomly picked to comment on the topic said a friend of hers advised her to ask her boss for a salary increase on a Wednesday and no later than that.
Kirera said she, therefore, decided to try this out and asked her boss for a raise from sh16,000 to sh21,000. To her surprise, the boss agreed to her request and assured her that at the end of the month she would see a change in her bank account. At the end of the December month, sure enough, Kirera had a reasonable sum of money in her account.
Many people would not believe in this and would call it some sort of myth simply because it has worked for few people but how will you surely know it works if you do not try it out? Go to your boss on Wednesday and ask for that raise, see what happens.
