Here are some of the reasons why some women choose to remain single;
1. Unfaithful partners. Men can destroy the trust factor in a lady. If a woman was once cheated by her husband she may end up choosing to be single to avoid such kind of heartbreaks in the future.
2. Fear of getting infected. HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea and herpes are a few examples of these diseases. Many women choose to remain single to escape this.
3. Fear of responsibilities. As mothers for example, she's expected to perform all the duties e.g. cleaning children, dropping them in school, washing there clothes. This would deny them the freedom of being with friends and also their personal free time.
4. Parents' conflicts. If raised in an environment of domestic violence with parents, she may opt to remain single due to fear that it may happen to her too.
5. Strict parents with regards to tribe. If their lover was rejected by parents due to tribal differences and the lover decides to move on, the other party may choose to remain single.
