With the sponsors' issue being a common talk in Kenya and especially among young ladies in the city, the house of an area chief in Nakuru county has been burnt down by his wife who found another woman living with him.
The drama ensued at Kabatini, Nakuru county when wife to area chief John Thuo came back to find another woman allegedly warming the bed of her husband in this cold season.
The wife had traveled to attend a funeral out of the county but had apparently stuck her ear to the ground. News of her husband's philandering ways reached her and she acted immediately by coming back. She reportedly busted the two cozying up in her home.
The two women were locked in blows for sometime before the enraged wife doused the house with petrol, set it ablaze and vanished.
Mr Thuo who narrowly escaped his wife's wrath denied the knowledge of the two women fighting at his house and said that he was only called from work that his house was on fire.
He also added that the cause of the fire had not yet been established contrary to the eye witnesses who said that the wife had actually torched the house in anger.
"I came home at midday and then left for work, only to be informed that my house was on fire some times later. I have not received any reports of people fighting here," Said Thuo.
