An unidentified woman was on Friday found dumped at Pipeline Estate on the outskirts of Nakuru Town.
Residents said that the woman might have been killed somewhere else and her body dumped at the scene of crime.
“We are not familiar with the body and we suspect she was killed somewhere else and her body dumped here,” said Mr Jack Mwangi , a resident.
Confirming the incidence Nakuru acting OCPD Musa Mangoli said that the woman was brutally murdered before her body was dumped at the estate.
“The deceased had several injuries and her hands were tied at the back,” said Mangoli.
Mangoli said that police have launched investigations to know how the woman was murdered and dumped.
“We have launched investigations to the death of the woman.We are appealing to members of public who have lost their beloved one to come forward and help in identification,”said Mangoli.
The Pipeline residents are now calling on the police to beef up security in the area saying over four bodies have been dumped in the area in a period of less than one month.
The incident comes barely a month after four sex workers in Nakuru Town were brutally killed.
