Police in Ruiru are pursuing a middle-aged woman who is believed to have stabbed her lover to death after a disagreement in their relationship.
The woman is reported to have been angered after the lover came home drunk and they started quarrelling over love affairs before the woman stabbed him with a kitchen knife and fled to an unknown place.
While confirming the incident, Ruiru OCPD Isaac Thuranira said that police were called to the scene after the incident but found the deceased was already dead.
Mr Thuranira called on anybody who could have information of her whereabouts of the woman to come up and help police with the investigations, saying it is very inhuman to take another persons life regardless of what mistake they have done
He called upon the residents to try and solve their problems in a way that eliminates any chances of violence saying that the area has witnessed a lot of suicide and murder in the past few months.
“Please try using amicable ways of resolving conflicts as we have had many cases of murder and suicide in Ruiru for the past few months. We will be happy to be in an area where there are minimal deaths,” the officer said
