Kibera ladies have been urged to dress well so as to avoid attracting unwanted attention from people in public.

Speaking at Ayani on Monday during the inter-churches ladies conference, the guest speaker Sarah Ndhenyo from the Global Revival Ministry told ladies to always look at themselves in the mirror before leaving the house so as to make sure that their dressing will not embarrass them.

"It is important to view yourself in the mirror before you leave the house. Looking in the mirror for a lady should not be just about applying makeup but checking how presentable you are. You should value yourself," said Sarah.

Sarah further told the ladies to embrace the ‘my dress my choice’ slogan but to also be very careful that their dressing code does not cause discomfort to other people in the society.

"We are very free to dress the way we want but we should also remember that indecent dressing is not lady-like," she added.
