He said that the current leadership in the ward is poor and accused the area MCA Protus Moindi for failing to deliver to improve the lives of the people.

"The county has allocated money to maintain our roads, give bursaries and help needy families. Where is the money? Our roads are poor especially during rainy seasons. The current MCA is not working close to area MP Zebedeo Opore to ensure students from Bomariba gets CDF and county bursaries. He is busy stealing money meant for development as well as employing only his relatives and family members and he has forgotten the people who voted him in 2013," said Nyamote.

The sponsor of Riyongo tournament also noted that it is high time for Bomariba residents to unite and select a leader who will represent them and bring goodies to the people.

"As Bomariba people, we should remain as one and ensure that leaders we elect will bring value to society. The votes we have should not be taken for granted. As 2017 approaches, I urge all residents to register as voters. I will be glad if voted as the next MCA. I invited Moindi to this event but he never showed up. As the Riyongo cup ends today, I will ensure that it comes back in a month's time after a short break", he added.

He urged students from the ward to apply for county and CDF bursaries to boost them in schools.
