Nakuru deputy Governor Joseph Rutto has challenged youths in Nakuru County to get voter's cards.
Rutto said it will be hard for the young people to elect other young people as leaders if they don't register as voters.
He said youths should stop the social media politics but instead get real and register as voters.
Speaking Sunday in Kiamaina ward, the deputy county boss lashed out at the youths for spending too much time on social media instead of going to register as voters.
"The youth are all over social media talking about electing fellow youth but they are not registering as voters,"said Rutto.
"How will they elect fellow youth if they don't get voters cards? The elections will not be done on social media," he said.
The DG said young people can can only bring about the desired change in the country if they register as voters.
