Youths in Kisii have been challenged to enroll for a waste management course in to enable them work under handle the waster management and recycling programme launched by the Kisii County government and a British company.

Speaking to the press on Monday in Kisii town, Vicky Onderi, the Director East Africa Compliance and Recycling Company, said interested youths can enroll for the waste recycling and e-waste course at Kisii University.

"I am happy the program (e-waste management) we launched 3 months ago has picked well, I urge the youth to enroll for the course at the Kisii University to enable them have knowledge on handling waste," she appealed.

She added: "Anybody with a D+ and above can enroll for the course."

Ms Onderi said they have partnered with Southampton University to ensure the programme runs smoothly.

She said the experts from Britain will come to access the progress of the program which was launched on July this year.
