A section of youths from Bonchari constituency have refuted claims that area MP Opore is misusing funds.
The youths have now claimed that aspirants from the constituency are the ones behind false allegations against Opore.
Opore has been accused of misusing CDF funds and failure to bring development in the constituency has been defended by some of his supporters.
"Hate speech rumor mongering can not help. Opore has done many projects among them constructing schools. Recently, he a gave a cheque to Matongo primary of Sh750, 000 and not Sh300, 000 as it is being claimed by some aspirants," said Milly Richards.
"The money has been used to buy new iron sheets for the roofs of the school. How comes people have come out saying the school together with Opore used the money to only paint the old iron sheets? she added.
Mark Opano said that constituents should not be used by aspirants who do not understand Bonchari politics and instead help and advise Opore on the projects to be initiated in the constituency.
"Through CDF money, many students from the region have benefited. Schools have been constructed as roads are being maintained. People should not accuse Opore because of aspirants' with selfish ideas," said Opano.
"Those opposing Opore are enemies of development in our constituency. What Opore has done in Bonchari is much and people should appreciate. The MP respects everyone and CDF money has benefited each constituent. People should learn to choose wise leaders like Opore," said Manani.
