It seems that there is so much talent among Kibra youth.
In this regard, the Homeboyz Foundation in collaboration with the Sea Showbiz organisation and the African Fund have organised a talents search in the constituency.
The Kibera Talent Koncert is slated for Saturday and runs from 2-6pm at the Kamukunji grounds.
Edwin Mukuza who is a spoken word artiste said Wednesday that he is well prepared to battle it out with other spoken word artistes from the area.
Valarie Achieng, a musician, also said she has been training for about three weeks now and is hopeful that the competition will favour her.
“I am ready to battle it out with other musicians on stage. I hope the competitors will not make the afternoon dull, I hope to see energetic performances on stage,” she said.
Among prominent artistes expected to perform at the event include Eko Dydda, Juliani, Moussa Diallo and Sarabi Band.
