There was drama at the Lake Victoria South Water Services Board after suspended CEO Eng Moses Agumba obtained a court order reinstating him into office.
Agumba who allegedly found his office lock changed broke the door after pleading for two hours to be let in. Accompanied by over 20 youths, Agumba managed to gain access to the office.
“I had no option but to break into my office. I had waited for long and my pleas to have the office opened for me fell on deaf ears,” he said.
Speaking from the office on Thursday, Agumba said he moved to court to challenge his suspension and was granted an order on Wednesday.
He said the basis of his suspension was not convincing thus the need to move to court.
Agumba said there were changes that were effected immediately he was suspended including changing signatories.
He said the court order has made a number of stays and he will reverse some of the changes made at the water board.
Late last month, Agumba, alongside two officials were suspended following the loss of Sh14.9 million paid to ghost workers.
