Bodaboda riders have been urged to observe traffic rules to reduce road accidents in Kisii County.
In addition, they have been asked to join Saccos so they can be empowered.
Kisii bodaboda chairman Mike Mose said on Tuesday that the only way the riders can save themselves from accidents is by observing and keeping traffic rules.
He has appealed to all riders to be careful and avoid speeding and overtaking which has caused many accidents.
Mose also asked customers to ensure they control the riders.
According to Mose, many customers do not care when they ride a motorbike even if the rider breaks the law.
“Let us be caretakers of our brothers. When somebody breaks the law, it is your life at stake,” added Mose.
