Bogichora residents have been told to be cautious against fraudsters who are going round in the area collecting money while claiming to be in a position to secure them jobs in both the county and national government respectively.

Speaking in Sironga early today, Bogichora ward representative Beautta Omanga said that getting a job in the government depends on your qualifications. He therefore urged the residents to shun and report such people once they come across them.

The MCA made these remarks following an incident in which a 68 year old man identified as John Moturi from Sironga was conned Kshs 30,000 on the empty promise that his son would be given a job in the Nyamira county government.

The MCA further called upon security agents to ensure that such people are arrested on time before they take advantage of more innocent residents.
