Borabu Member of Parliament Ben Momanyi has promised to fulfill the pledges he made to the electorate before the next election.
Addressing residents on Sunday at Borabu after a two week tour of the United States, Momanyi asked residents to help him identify urgent projects to be financed with the CDF money.
“I know there is high expectation among my residents and my promise is that I will not bounce them on my pledges. Am striving towards ensuring that I am fulfilling my promises before this term ends,” the legislator said.
He added that he will press the government to give him the necessary support to enable him initiate more projects for Borabu residents.
Momanyi said every school will have a school bus, improve infrastructure and enhance power supply.
“Every secondary school in the constituency will have a bus to facilitate student tours that are meant to enhance their performance. I will also improve the state of roads and ensure power connectivity in my constituency. I ask my residents to help me in identifying other projects so that we can allocate funds for them from the CDF kitty,” he said.
Area residents have been complaining of slow development in the area, accusing the MP of laxity at the expense of the electorate.
