Moticho Member of the County Assembly Evans Mokoro has appealed to Kisii county government to buy ambulances for Nduru Health Center to prevent loss of lives during emergencies.
Speaking on Sunday at Nduru, the MCA said there is urgent need of ambulance to ease transportation of patients to Kisii level 6 Hospital for treatment.
This comes a day after two people lost their lives in a grisly road accident on Nyamarabe- Etago road since there was no ambulance to rush them to Kisii level 6.
“Nduru Health Centre should have ambulances for emergency operations. I am requesting our county government to buy ambulances for the facility. Currently it does not have any ambulance, which puts the lives of patients at a great risk,” said Mokoro.
