The Voice of Salvation Around the World Church Archbishop Isaiah Mugo has advised parents to monitor what their children are up to and teach them good morals that would help them overcome peer pressure and make them responsible men and women in future.

Mugo was addressing pupils and teachers at Rhonda Primary School on Thursday during prayers for class 8 candidates.

He said parents are largely to blame for the current crisis where children were being caught in night clubs with alcohol and engaging in indecent acts.

"If as a parent you don't bother to know where your child is then what do you expect," he posed.

Cases of minors being found on possession of drugs and in discotheques have been on a sharp increase with the latest coming three days in Nairobi where minors as young as nine were found in a night club drinking alcohol and having condoms.
