Any leader who does not respect the The National Alliance Party (TNA)'s stance will be punished accordingly.

Kiambu TNA coordinator, Gladys Chania, has said that the party will not stand members who disrespect the party.

She said that Moses Kuria (Gatundu South MP) and Martin Njenga (Riabai MCA) will be punished for their misconduct according to the party's constitution.

Kuria is on record, issuing inflammatory remarks, during the launch of National Youth Service (NYS) initiative in his area last week. Already, he has been grilled by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) officers. He is also expected to be charged in court for the said remarks.

Asked whether the party will expel the MP, Chania said that Kuria needs correction on how to to address people considering it is not the first time he has been accused of inciting the public.

Riabai MCA Martin Njenga was apprehended by the police from his home earlier this week. He was allegedly hiding cartons of the second generation alcohol, a day after addressing a meeting that was attended by President Uhuru Kenyatta in Kiambu where he vowed to fight the alcoholism in his area.

Speaking in an exclusive interview, Chania said that the leader should be prosecuted according to the law as others are being subjected to the law.
