Nakuru town MP David Gikaria today at Kiamurogi free area poured 0ver 500 litters of second generation drinks.
Gikaria said that he acted after being notified by the Nakuru Town East MCA James Humphrey Mwaniki that there was illicit liquor in the area.
“Without wasting time, I headed to Kiamurogi and with the help of the MCA raided the den and poured over 500 litters of Kangara," said Gikaria.
The legislator thanked the residents for providing the information and urged them to continue supporting the government in the eradication of lethal liquor .
During the operation, 3 brewers were arrested and are now helping police with investigations. Gikaria also said that the 3 will be arraigned in court on Monday to answer charges of being in possession of lethal liquor .
