He spoke on Friday when he met a delegation from Salgaa which included religious leaders.

The group was led by Mosop MCA George Mwaura at his office.

The Governor assured the leaders that his government has put behind the burning down of a fire engine in June this year by some residents of Salgaa and said the suspects have already been charged and law will take its course.

Mbugua also said the county government will continue working with the residents of Salgaa as there are projects being undertaken in the region and plans to do more are underway.

"Drainage, truck parking and security lights are among the key projects that are in the pipeline to be undertaken to avert the damages of the looming El Nino rains and to fully develop the area," he said.

Also present were Roads, Transport and Public Works minister Maina Kairu and his counterpart for Environment, Natural Resources, Water and Energy Richard Rop.
