Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has said he is not afraid of being jailed over the alleged incitement remarks he is said to have made while addressing youths in his constituency on Monday.
Speaking at Kagwe Primary School in Lari constituency, Kiambu county on Friday, Kuria said he is not afraid and he will keep on fighting against people who are enemies of development.
Kuria claimed some people are afraid of the development projects being initiated by the Jubilee government.
“I will continue to speak against people who want to destroy the development projects the government is making even if it means going to jail,” he said.
The MP said that his remarks were blown out of proportion and that he has left everything to the authorities.
The Gatundu South MP is accused of allegedly inciting a section of youths in his constituency by asking them to fight people opposed to National Youth Service (NYS) projects.
Kuria was interrogated by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (CID) on Thursday in relation to the alleged incitement remarks.
Kuria has been summoned to appear before court on Thursday next week to answer to charges of incitement.
